11.19.2017 / HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY
“It was a hard‑fought battle with a long night, but might not have gotten the result we wanted with the Miller Lite Ford Fusion. The result you want is to win the race, win the championship, but the effort was phenomenal, and I was really proud of our group for everything they put into that, trying to be the best with this package. We weren’t quite best in class, but we ran up front.”
+ THE 2 CREW GAVE IT ALL THEY HAD AT HOMESTEAD, LOGGING A TOP 5 STARTING SPOT FOR THE 11TH TIME THIS SEASON, RUNNING NEAR THE FRONT OF THE FIELD AND EVEN LEADING A LAP, HIS 778TH LAP LEADING THE FIELD AROUND THE TRACK THIS SEASON.
+ BRAD FINISHED THE FIRST STAGE OF THE RACE IN 2ND POSITION, LEADING THE CHAMPIONSHIP, AND WAS 5TH AFTER STAGE 2, BUT COULDN’T KEEP PACE WITH THE OTHER THREE CHAMPIONSHIP DRIVERS AND ULTIMATELY FINISHED 7TH, HIS 21ST TOP 10 OF THE SEASON.
+ BRAD FINISHED 4TH AMONG THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOUR, STILL HIS BEST SEASON FINISH SINCE HE WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2012.
