RICHMOND, VA (August 15, 2026) – Brad Keselowski entered Saturday night’s race at Richmond Raceway with plenty of promise, qualifying ninth and showing strong early speed in the BuildSubmarines.com Ford Mustang. The No. 6 team appeared poised for a competitive night before a series of untimely cautions during green-flag pit cycles changed the course of the race. Twice, Keselowski found himself trapped laps down after making pit stops under green, leaving him fighting to regain lost ground as the race progressed. Despite a determined effort to battle back, the unfavorable timing ultimately proved too much to overcome, resulting in a frustrating 26th-place finish.

  • Keselowski Quote: “We started out strong. Had a good qualifying effort and the car felt really good early. But we just couldn’t catch a break tonight. We pitted under green a couple times and then the yellow would come out and we’d be trapped. It’s frustrating to say the least. We’ll go back to work and be ready for New Hamshire next week.”
